As of Friday, September 23, 2005, the Hotel Carlisle has confirmed that all 150 rooms that allow dogs are reserved. There are still non-dog rooms available at the Carlisle.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Ramada Limited, which is located approximately ¼ mile and across the road from the Clarion.
Very Important!
You must call the hotel for reservations; you cannot make your reservations online. And, you must specify you are with the ABTC when you call.
The Hotel Carlisle has given the ABTC a flat rate of $109.95 per room.
It has been brought to our attention that people have looked at booking their stay through other agencies and they have been told there is no pet fee. That is not correct. If you have booked through another agency instead of calling the hotel directly, you will not be considered one of our National Specialty guests, so when you get to the hotel you will not get one of the rooms we have blocked off for our show. That means that if you book your stay through an agency and have dogs with you, you will be charged ten dollars per dog, per day in addition to the room fee you were quoted.
The hotel has four buildings. Only three of these buildings allow dogs. The main building of the hotel does not allow dogs, so when you call the hotel to make your reservations, make sure you mention if you are bringing dogs, because if you don't, once you get there if the three buildings that allow dogs in the rooms are booked full, you will not have a room at the hotel into which you can bring your dogs.

No dogs will be allowed in the hotel's main building, which includes the hotel lobby and pool. (Exceptions will be made for seminars. We will designate in which to bring dogs.) No dogs will be allowed in any restricted areas, as designated by signs.

Recreational Vehicles
RV parking is full. Contact Linda at lrobey@swbell.net if you wish to be put on the waiting list.
There will be limited RV parking at the host hotel for $28.00 per night. Spots may be either blacktop or gravel. There are no hook-ups.
There will be no holding tank–dumping in the parking area, accidental or otherwise. If you have leaky plumbing, please have it repaired prior to your arrival.
Quiet hours will be enforced. No generators will be permitted to run after 10:30 p.m. or before 5:30 a.m. Please be aware of your dog's barking between these hours.
All parking spots will be assigned by the RV chairperson. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Herding Trials will be held at Keepstone Farm in Berryville, Virginia, which is approxiametly 1 hour and 30 minutes from the specialty host hotel.
