Herding Tests and Trials

An All-Breed Herding Trial will be held on Saturday, April 29, and the ABTC National Specialty Herding Trial will be held on Sunday, April 30. Both trials will be held at Keepstone Farm in Berryville, Virginia, which is located 105 miles from the host hotel in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Both locations are minutes from Interstate 81. Berryville is five minutes from Winchester, Virginia, where there are several dog friendly hotels. There is no RV parking at the farm; however there are camping locations within the Winchester area. Entries will be limited to fifty (50) runs per judge, with two judges each day. Stock will be 3–5 head of hair-sheep–crosses that are herded on a regular basis by many different breeds.
