Dermott Young wrote about Ghost:
Ghosty… where do I start? Ghosty is from two C-BAR dogs, Perfect and Wanda. They are from ‘old’ Belgian lines. He was a prominent puppy and stood out as early as five weeks. He has an outstanding, finely chiseled head with a front to die for. Overall, he is an outstanding specimen with a beautiful expression. A tragic freak accident reduced his show career — a badly broken rear leg at four months was a heart breaker. In spite of this handicap, Ghosty went on to win his Canadian Championship in style. He later went Best in Show and Best Canadian-Bred at the 1998 Canadian Specialty that had the largest entry in history. In 1999 he was also best Canadian-Bred Belgian with an excellent rating, and second only to another Klaar dog. His next big win was later in France at the French Specialty. He was placed 6th Excellent in the Open Male class, and rated Excellent+, also winning the coveted s.r. title. He is the first North American bred Terv to win an s.r. Another huge win was at the ABTC Specialty in California in 1999, where he was the first grey Terv to ever win the Bred-by-Exhibitor class.
Ghost was owned by Dermott O. Young of Millarville, Alberta and bred by Dermott O. Young and Dermott O. Young and Christine F. Reed. You can view Dermott's web site at: http://www.klaar.ca/.

In The Belgian Tervuren Genealogy Book, Volume V, Linda Robey wrote about Lyra:
Lyra is a wonderful show dog. She finished her Championship quickly going Best of Breed over specials. She was a Group Winner from the classes, had many additional Group placements, was in the top ten bitches in 1994 with limited showing, and select at the 1998 National Specialty.
Lyra is a wonderful companion. When I had some serious surgery, she never left my side. She was on the couch with her head in my lap for three weeks. I knew I was well when she got off the couch. She sleeps beside me on the bed every night.
Just having Lyra in my life would be enough, but she also turned out to be an incredible producer. She had one litter of six males. By the time they were two years old, four had finished their Championships (each one going Best of Breed over specials), one is looking for that last major, two are Group Winners, one is an all breed Best In Show Winner, a Specialty Best In Show Winner and Select at the National Specialty. Lyra has unbelievable color, flawless movement, scissors bite with full dentition, beautiful head and expression, a great neck, an unbeatable temperament and has never had a sick day in her life. Thanks Chivas and Fergie for producing such a great daughter.
Lyra was owned by Linda L. Robey and Donald M. Lankster of High Ridge, Missouri. She was bred by Gail B. Cooper and David E. Willsey.
