I'm surprised Linda Robey didn't run screaming into the night when I followed her back to her set-up at the Louisville shows and declared that Quazar's mother Lyra was “The most beautiful Terv I ever laid eyes on.” Instead we began a wonderful friendship while I waited for a couple of years for Lyra to have puppies. And what a puppy she had for me! I asked for a puppy that I could finish, so he finished with 3 majors and won a group. I asked for an obedience dog, so he blasts though his titles with very little training and very high scores. I asked for a herding dog, so he shares my passion for herding and is far beyond me in talent. And although I didn't ask for a stud dog, Quazar has produced some truly exceptional puppies. Quazar was a delight to live with, always acting appropriately in any situation. We called him the “OH BOY!!!!" dog because that was his attitude about everything I asked him to do. Quazar was, for me, the perfect dog.
Quazar was owned by Libbye Miller, DVM and Stephen L. Miller of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was bred by Linda L. Robey and Donald M. Lankster.

Jan George, DVM wrote about Molly:
Everyone knows Molly the show dog. The first time she set foot in the ring, she enjoyed herself thoroughly, and it never changed. She loved the attention; she loved people. This was the spark that is missing in her photos. The Molly we see in photos was a sound, pretty girl. In motion, she was gorgeous. However, what truly made Molly special was something inside of her. It was the part of her that loved life, people, puppies and just about everything else she ever encountered. It was a curiosity that required that she check out the content of every trashcan at a show; it was a pride that demanded, “Look at me—pay attention to me—I am special!” Mostly, it was as one spectator said to me as Molly was participating in her first group (not knowing that she was my dog): “Look at that one! She is the only one out there who looks like she is having a good time!” Molly made everything fun. But she was a dedicated friend and hard worker too. Had she more time in this world, she would have added other accolades to her obedience Dog World Award in areas such as herding (she had outstanding talent), tracking, and agility.
One often hears of an once-in-a-lifetime dog, but how many dogs do truly change one's life? Besides keeping us active as breeders and exhibitors, Molly actually brought Willie and I together and decided that we should stay that way. And Molly always got what she wanted! She also, through her multi-talented children and grandchildren, brought us our wonderful and beloved extended family, which is still growing. What can one say about such a wonderful friend as Molly? We miss her every day. It would be difficult to bear if we didn't see her daily in her descendents. Even nicer, is that, through them, we can share her with so many other folks! Molly, we love you!
Molly was owned by Janice L. George, DVM MS of Lexington, Kentucky and Linda Ann (Casper) Sayre, DVM of Bloomington, Indiana. She was bred by Dr. Rod Casper and Linda Ann (Casper) Sayre, DVM.
