Grooming From Tip to Tail

Presented by Russ Beach. Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. at the Ramada Inn At Six Flags. $10 Fee. Topics will include: line brushing, trimming feet and hocks, fixing wavy coats and improving your dog's outline. This workshop will have trained dogs to demonstrate grooming techniques. Attendees should not bring their own dogs.

Handling to Win

Presented by Russ Beach. Tuesday, 8:15 p.m.–9:15 p.m. at the Ramada Inn At Six Flags. $10 Fee. Topics will include: free baiting, hand stacking, the proper speed to gait your dog, how to look like a pro in the ring and proper ring attire. This workshop will have trained dogs to demonstrate handling techniques. Attendees should not bring their own dogs.

Attend both of Russ Beach's seminars for a total cost of $15.

Presented by Edeltraud Laurin. Wednesday, 8:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. at the Ramada Inn At Six Flags. No Charge. This presentation is intended for the general membership. The content is the official ABTC Powerpoint presentation that is given to potential breed judges.

Sports Medicine For Your Weekend Warrior

Presented by Libbye Miller, DVM. Thursday, 7:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. at the Ramada Inn At Six Flags. $10 Fee. During this talk we will explore:

  1. What kind of stress is being put on performance dogs.
  2. What conformation flaws most affect a dog's ability to stay sound.
  3. Conditioning and Warm-Up.
  4. Rehab for injuries.
