On the weekend of November 19 & 20, 2005, Tryst received his HT title at the Central Kentucky Herding Group Club's herding test in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The judges were Peggy Richter and Dana A. Hasemeier.

At the Southeastern Regional Specialty in Marietta, Georgia on October 30, 2005, Tryst was Winners Dog under judge Mrs. Myron (Corky) Gauger.	Tryst, at 8 Months.
Tryst was Best of Winners on September 11, 2005, under judge Mr. Lee Brown, at the Clermont County KC show in Owensville, Ohio.	Tryst was Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes at the ABTC Supported Show in Marietta, Georgia on October 29, 2005. The judge was Joni L. Freshman, DVM.
Tryst went Best of Winners on August 20, 2005, under judge Mrs. Patricia (Pat) Hastings at the Muncie KC show in Muncie, Indiana. He went on to win a Puppy Group II under judge Norma Smith.	Tryst was again Best of Winners on August 21, 2005, under judge Dr. Dale D. Simmons at the Anderson KC show in Muncie, Indiana.
