Event Details: These events will be held outdoors. The event hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or one hour following conclusion of judging. Judging will begin after the first handlers' meeting at 7:45 a.m.
All entries open at 9:00 a.m. EDT, Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Trial Secretary's home. No entries will be accepted before this time. All entries close at 6:00 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Trial Secretary's home, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided in Chapter 1, Section 13 of the AKC Herding Regulations.
Exhibition only entries will be accepted at the same fee and closing date as other entries. When numerical limits are exceeded, additional entries will be placed on alternates' list. Drawing for running order will be held at 6:30 p.m. EST, June 6, 2007 at the Trial Secretary's home.
There will be a limit of twenty-five (25) entries for each trial in the test classes. There will be a limit of thirty-five (35) duck runs on Friday and Sunday combined, and thirty-five (35) duck runs on Saturday. There will be a limit of seventy (70) entries in trial classes on sheep on Saturday and Sunday.
These trials and tests are open to all Herding Group breeds, Giant Schnauzers, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Rottweilers, Samoyeds, Standard Schnauzers, Beaucerons, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhunds, Pyrenean Shepherds and Swedish Vallhunds which have been registered with The American Kennel Club or have been granted an ILP or FSS number, and which are nine (9) months of age or older. Icelandic Sheepdogs may only enter trial classes as Exhibition Only entries.
